Elektrobusse mit Stern ab 2018

Daimler konkretisiert die Elektrifizierungspläne für seine Busse. So wird sowohl der batterieelektrische Citaro E-Cell als auch der mit Wasserstoff betriebene Citaro F-Cell in zwei Jahren auf den Markt kommen.

Daimler und Tesla gehen getrennte Wege

Daimler wird bei der nächsten Generation der B-Klasse Electric Drive Batterie und Antriebsstrang nicht mehr von Tesla beziehen. Das hat Daimler-Manager Harald Kröger der „Automobilwoche“ verraten. Daimler könne sich „in Zukunft hervorragend selbst versorgen“.

Audi plant Wasserstoff in Serie

Das bereits in Detroit und nun auch in Genf gezeigte Konzept Audi H-tron Quattro wird in Serien gehen. Das bestätigte Audi-Entwicklungschef Stefan Knirsch gegenüber „Top Gear“. Bleibt nur eine Frage offen: Wann? Die Antwort ist so einleuchtend wie ernüchternd: Erst, wenn es genügend Wasserstoff-Tankstellen gibt, sagt Knirsch.

Novelis und Jaguar entwickeln Aluminium-Legierung
