HIWITronics is prototyping wireless solutions in harsh environments. With a widespread network of partners and contacts reaching from academia to industry customized solutions for wireless communication, sensing and energy harvesting are developed. HIWITronics is an Austrian start-up of engineers with more than 20 years experience in the field working on customized solutions for measurement and sensing needs and bringing them up to prototype level.

Some examples of HIWITronics developments are a cost effective differential GPS for high precision localization, mini thermocams with various interfaces and wireless connections for data and charging, an energy harvesting device for rotating parts (European patent) enabling the transmission of signals, sensed in the wheel at very high data rates.
