Mal findet das „European Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and the Bioeconomy (EFIB)“ statt, bei dem Interessensgruppen aus Wissenschaft, Industrie, Finanzen und Politik über Trends, Fortschritte und Innovationen in der industriellen Biotechnologie und Bioökonomie diskutieren. Die EFIB 2021 wird in Wien unter dem Motto „Delivering the EU Green Deal: Industrial biotechnology into business“ veranstaltet.
